Throughout high school, as I developed my graphic design skills, I would design t shirts and posters for my cross country and track team. My coach caught on to my abilities and upon graduating, he hired me as a free lance designer for team gear and promotional pieces.
STICKERS
As a celebratory token, I created these two stickers of the men's and women's varsity teams. The stickers were passed out to all the runners and helped to promote the success of each team to the rest of the student body.
PRESEASON POSTER
Working with a professional photographer, we shot each of our star athletes and I cut them together onto a poster we shared on social media.
HYPE POSTER
To encourage my teammates as they prepared for some of the bigger races, I created these Nike-inspired posters and had them printed to put on lockers.
Singlet Design
I was tasked with recreating a vintage style singlet Lincoln High School used to sport back in the day. The simple design looks great from a far on the speedy kids!
FOREST PARK SINGLET
When competing unattached, Lincoln uses the name "Forest Park" in reference to the beautiful urban forest that sits in the school's backyard. This singlet is inspired by The University of Colorado's bold graphic look. I took the treeline of the park and heavily stylized it.
STOP LINCOLN
To commemorate the opening of the high school's new building, I was tasked with creating a shirt. My design uses the classic "Stop Pre" reference which is well known in the running world. The teams have been on a tear, so it was fitting to use the reference. Finally, I styled it with a comic book halftone to give it a retro, but trendy look.
Team Shirt
Every year, my team had a tradition of making a shirt for everyone to where that signified that year. I was inspired by the 2016 Hood to Coast Shirt. My design took every aspect of what made our team and visualized them as icons.
College Commits
Every year several students sign with universities to continue their athletic careers. I have the honor of photo-shopping their new uniforms and making their official announcement graphics!
